Improve Your Posture...Effortlessly!

Good posture is not only attractive and give one the appearance of dignity and self-assurance - it's also healthy! When you slouch, your chest is caving in, shoulders are rounded, spine is curved, stomach protrudes, internal organs are crowded and back and neck muscles are being strained. Hardly a description of energy and zest!

Whether you are sitting on the floor, in the car, at your desk, or at the dinner table, frequently remind yourself to sit to the front part of your sitting bones. All that means is that you gently tilt your pelvis forward, getting your weight off your tailbone and onto the front part of your hip joints. Try it right simply doing that slight movement with your pelvis, your spine immediately straightens up, your shoulders relax, your tummy tightens, and you're in correct alignment. It becomes automatic very quickly, and in no time you'll be in such a habit of sitting that way, that you'll also stand and walk in correct alignment. A great benefit in easing muscular strain and what a help for a weak lower back!
